To maintain its bill payment services via its app, Paytm has partnered with Epay, the digital payment division of Euronet Worldwide. Paytm used to rely on Paytm Payment Bank Limited PPBL, an affiliate company, to provide these services. Per an RBI decision, PPBL was prohibited from providing banking services after February 29, 2024. Later, the deadline was moved to March 15. The RBImandated Bharat Bill Payment System BBPS allows different bill payments via several methods. Epay intervened and used its infrastructure, network connections, and licences to help Paytm resolve this regulatory issue. Prepaid cell airtime, bill payments, Google Play credit, and satellite TV recharges are all part of the cooperation growth.
