European countries are responsible for most of the total foreign labor force in the government sectors. Egypt saw an increase of 43.9%, affected by the recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and increased national projects. ValU, MENAs leading BuyNow, PayLater BNPL platform, announced Monday that Saudi Alhokair Family signed an agreement to acquire a 4.99% stake in valU through a capital injection of $12.4m. The transaction puts valU, the largest BNPL provider in Egypt, at USD 247.4 million valuations. ValU entered the Saudi Arabian market last week through FAS Finance, a joint venture with FAS Labs. The companys CEO Walid Hassouna, says the move shows investors interest in the NBFI space in Egypt and the rest of the region.
