Creators may now maintain the complete provenance chain of online photos, including authorship and editing history, thanks to Cloudflares integration of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity C2PA onto its platform. By confirming image authenticity, this upgrade, a component of Cloudflare Images, improves digital transparency and aids in the fight against false information. Cloudflares Head of AI Control, Privacy & Media Products, Will Allen, compared digital provenance to art authenticity, highlighting its function in giving creators credit and employment prospects. Cloudflare now supports the "Content Credentials" system, created by the Content Authenticity Initiative CAI in 2019 with Adobe as a cofounder and guarantees that metadata is preserved when images are shared. The Cloudflare dashboards Images > Transformations > Zone section is where users can activate this capability.
