According to the first complaint, Microsoft unfairly assigns schools that lack the requisite data monitoring skills to their GDPR data controller duties. According to NOYB, this structure needs to be more practical and absolve parties of responsibility for childrens data. The second grievance relates to Microsofts alleged usage of cookies in 365 Education, which follows users without regard to age and may impact hundreds of thousands of students in the EU and EEA.
