Adobe has released Project Indigo, a free experimental camera software for iPhones that uses artificial intelligence and computational photography to produce images with the quality of DSLRs. It records up to 32 frames every image, combining them for improved dynamic range and lower noise, and has complete manual controls, including ISO, shutter speed, focus, and white balance. The application stores photographs in SDR and HDR and supports both JPEG and RAW DNG formats. It has two modes Photo and Night. The latter uses longer exposures to provide clarity in low light. Additionally, Indigo has multiframe superresolution to enhance long exposure effects like motion blur and zoom quality. Its free to sign in now and will eventually be available on Android, and it works with iPhone 12 Pro and later models. Read More..

Over 16 billion login credentials have been made public in one of the worst data breaches in history. Researchers studying cybersecurity found 30 distinct datasets that affected websites such as Apple, Google, Facebook, GitHub, Telegram, and even government portals. Each dataset contained tens of millions to over 3.5 billion records. Most of the disclosed data was new and not recycled it came from earlier leaks, credential dumps, and infostealer malware. The breachs organised format—URLs followed by usernames and passwords—makes it very vulnerable to account takeovers, phishing, and identity theft. According to experts, your login credentials may be vulnerable if you have recently signed into any significant services. Read More..

Developed by the Italian Institute of Technology IIT, the iRonCub3 is the first flying humanoid robot powered by a jet. The 70kg craft hovers and manoeuvres in midair using a realtime AI control system and four microjet turbines, two on its arms and two on its back. It rose 50 centimetres off the ground in recent tests, remaining stable even when windy. The iRonCub3s humanlike structure and movable limbs presented special aerodynamic issues that were addressed using neural networkbased controllers that were trained on both simulated and realworld data, in contrast to drones. Designed for hazardous inspections, search and rescue, and manoeuvring through intricate indoor areas, the robot is reinforced with titanium to endure the exhaust heat of 800°C. Read More..

According to Senior VP of Hardware Technologies Johny Srouji, Apple is using generative AI to speed up the design of its own silicon processors. AIpowered tools, particularly from electronic design automation EDA companies like Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys, could greatly increase productivity by cutting down on chip design time, Srouji stressed in a recent address in Belgium. In order to manage Apples chip complexity, he referred to EDA businesses as "super critical" and emphasised how AI could improve operations. Srouji remarked that Apple made the daring decision to switch from Intel to Apple Silicon in 2020 without any contingency plans, demonstrating the companys dedication to innovation. Read More..

On June 18, a significant cyberattack occurred at Nobitex, Irans biggest cryptocurrency exchange, resulting in the destruction of digital assets worth about $90 million. As a political protest against Irans Revolutionary Guard Corps, the group Gonjeshke Darande Predatory Sparrow, suspected of having ties to Israel, claimed responsibility for the incident, claiming the money was sent to wallets that were unreachable and purposefully torched. Along with releasing Nobitexs source code, the attackers claimed that the platform helped evade sanctions and provided cash to organisations like the Houthis and Hamas. Noting "unauthorised access," Nobitex shut down its systems. This is the groups second strike in two days after Bank Sepah was breached. Rising geopolitical tensions in cyberspace and the susceptibility of digital banking systems in war areas are highlighted by the occurrence. Read More..

The recent hack on British store Marks & Spencer M&S, a customer for more than ten years, did not impact any of TCSs systems or users, the company has confirmed. The statement, which was given at TCSs annual shareholder meeting, made it clear that no other TCS clients were impacted and that TCS is not included in the scope of M&Ss investigation. The extremely sophisticated breach is projected to cost M&S over £300 million in lost operating profit, and online interruptions are predicted to last until July 2025, even though TCS is conducting an internal examination of the event. In 2023, TCS had already won a $1 billion deal to update M&Ss digital infrastructure and supply chain. Read More..

Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, said the new programming language is just "human" during London Tech Week 2025. He stressed that as AI advances, people wont need to learn complicated languages like Python or C++. Instead, just like they would teach a human, they can now "program" AI using natural language. Huang referred to AI as a "great equaliser", allowing anyone to produce code, pictures, or poetry with a simple, courteous request. "You are an incredible poet, steeped in Shakespeare," he said as an example of this. Write a poem on the keynote today, please. He said the AI would not just react to feedback but also make improvements. Those who adopt AI will influence the future, not those who oppose it, according to his message. Read More..
