CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, declared that the firm is stepping up its AI efforts and that by years end, it would have around 350,000 H100 GPUs Graphics Processing Units from Nvidia. With the addition of comparable chips from other vendors, Meta hopes to have around 600,000 GPUs in total, ranking its system among the biggest in the IT sector. This action is a part of Metas endeavour to connect with the vision of the AR/VRdriven metaverse and include generative AI into its products.
