The Pact establishes strict criteria for environmental performance and sustainability goals in five major areas energy efficiency, green power use, water use, recycling, and waste heat reuse. Every Pact members must assess their compliance with the Pacts aims using data from January 1 to December 31 after the first anniversary of their signature.
