The plant, spanning 500,000 square feet, is the largest investment under Indias Semiconductor Mission ISM. Micron is contributing $825 million, with the remainder covered by subsidies. The facility is expected to be operational by late 2024 and was the first project approved under Indias semiconductor mission.
