This is analogous to the existing Application Supported by Blocked Amount ASBAlike capability for the primary market, which assures that money from an investor is moved only when an allocation occurs. Advertisement According to Sebis consultation document, the proposed implementation of a blocking of funds facility for trading in secondary markets would allow investors to engage in secondary markets using blocked funds in their bank accounts, eliminating the need to transfer funds to a stockbroker.
