It will allow utilities, municipalities, and other businesses to build longrange, lowpower wireless mesh networks that connect thousands of IoT nodes. The campus of IIITH is made up of sensor networks that monitor many sectors such as water, energy, air pollution, solar power, and so on. The WiSUN Smart City Living Lab at IIITHyderabad has opened its doors. The lab will convert all 100 campus lamps to smart streetlights in order to provide a dense and consistent network for additional sensors such as energy meters, interior installations, and so on, everywhere on campus.  Read More..
