According to Senior VP of Hardware Technologies Johny Srouji, Apple is using generative AI to speed up the design of its own silicon processors. AIpowered tools, particularly from electronic design automation EDA companies like Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys, could greatly increase productivity by cutting down on chip design time, Srouji stressed in a recent address in Belgium. In order to manage Apples chip complexity, he referred to EDA businesses as "super critical" and emphasised how AI could improve operations. Srouji remarked that Apple made the daring decision to switch from Intel to Apple Silicon in 2020 without any contingency plans, demonstrating the companys dedication to innovation. Read More..

On June 18, a significant cyberattack occurred at Nobitex, Irans biggest cryptocurrency exchange, resulting in the destruction of digital assets worth about $90 million. As a political protest against Irans Revolutionary Guard Corps, the group Gonjeshke Darande Predatory Sparrow, suspected of having ties to Israel, claimed responsibility for the incident, claiming the money was sent to wallets that were unreachable and purposefully torched. Along with releasing Nobitexs source code, the attackers claimed that the platform helped evade sanctions and provided cash to organisations like the Houthis and Hamas. Noting "unauthorised access," Nobitex shut down its systems. This is the groups second strike in two days after Bank Sepah was breached. Rising geopolitical tensions in cyberspace and the susceptibility of digital banking systems in war areas are highlighted by the occurrence. Read More..

Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, said the new programming language is just "human" during London Tech Week 2025. He stressed that as AI advances, people wont need to learn complicated languages like Python or C++. Instead, just like they would teach a human, they can now "program" AI using natural language. Huang referred to AI as a "great equaliser", allowing anyone to produce code, pictures, or poetry with a simple, courteous request. "You are an incredible poet, steeped in Shakespeare," he said as an example of this. Write a poem on the keynote today, please. He said the AI would not just react to feedback but also make improvements. Those who adopt AI will influence the future, not those who oppose it, according to his message. Read More..
