In GPU benchmarks, the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset—anticipated to be on sale in October—has apparently surpassed Qualcomms Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Apples A18 Pro. In the GFX Aztec 1440p offscreen Vulcan test, the Dimensity 9400s GPU achieved 134 frames per second, which is 86% faster than Apples A18 Pro and 41% faster than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, according to a leak by Digital Chat Station. Although the test assesses GPU power in its rawest form, realworld performance may vary when the chipset is optimised for smartphones. It is also claimed that the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 has better CPU performance and energy efficiency, possibly using 30% less power for comparable workloads as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Read More..

Its Administrative Units AUs may be used to provide permanent backdoor access in compromised environments, according to a possible security concern discovered by Datadog Security Labs in Microsoft Entra ID previously known as Azure Active Directory. Attackers may establish longlasting access by manipulating AUs, which are intended to simplify permission administration. An attacker can keep undetected influence over infiltrated systems by assigning covert roles through secret membership AUs or creating "sticky" backdoor accounts in restricted management AUs. Although meant to improve security, these features make it harder for businesses to identify and remove unauthorised individuals. According to Datadog, AUs must be closely monitored to stop and quickly neutralise such persistent attacks. Read More..
