The data leak revealed information from identity cards or passports, customer names, phone numbers, birthdays, and nationalities. IAG said there was no proof of illicit use of the hacked data in an email sent to Air Europas customer base. IAG or Air Europa did not immediately answer Reuterss requests for comment. In October of last year, Air Europas online payment system was the target of a cyberattack that revealed specific customers credit card information.
