Seymour Israfilov, a Russian IT student, might be charged with treason for allegedly helping Ukrainian hackers carry out cyberattacks on Russia. Israfilov is suspected of having "proUkrainian views" and supporting Ukrainian hacking organisations in their attacks on Russian computer infrastructure. He was detained by the Russian security services FSB in October. As part of the Cyber Anarchy Squad, Israfilov, an 18yearold student, was purportedly involved in cyberattacks on colleges and municipal government.
