A $10 million green bond was purchased by Proparco, a unit of the French Development Agency AFD group, which will lend the money to Sun King, an African solar kit merchant. The green bond is being issued by the Swiss impact investor Symbiotics Group through its MSMR Bonds platform. Thanks to this platform, 309 bonds totaling $2.67 billion have already been issued. With the present investment, Sun King will be able to extend its business throughout Africa.
