Its apparent validity was established by experts who examined 1.4 terabytes of leaked material. As a result of poor performance in most sectors, Kenyas economic growth dropped to 4.0% in the third quarter of 2024 from 6.0% the same time the year before, according to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics. President Joe Bidens decision to veto Nippon Steels $14.9 billion bid for U.S. Steel perplexed Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. Still, the two nations foreign ministers reaffirmed their longstanding connections on Tuesday. Given the political unrest in South Korea, this action was viewed as a blow to U.S. efforts to improve ties with Japan. It could make it more difficult for the U.S., South Korea, and Japan to work together trilaterally to resist Chinas military power. As they emphasised their dedication to continued collaboration, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Japanese Foreign Minister Takashi Iwaya talked about economic ties and investments. According to analysts, the merger decision may deter Japanese investment, but because of shared security concerns, it is unlikely to affect the relationship as a whole. Read More..
