The provider of building solutions Johnson Controls has issued a warning that a cybersecurity attack that happened on September 23 may cause a delay in the companys publication of its fourthquarter results. The problem involves a thirdparty ransomware attack and unauthorised access. By December 14, Johnson Controls hopes to release its fourthquarter and yearend financial statements. According to the corporation, certain of its systems that support or provide data needed in financial reporting experienced difficulties as a result of the cybersecurity attack.
