SLS can carry more cargo into space than any other vehicle. Terran Orbital will navigate the Moon using the Lunar Camera visual guidance system.. LunIR will communicate with Earth via ground stations operated by Kongsberg Satellite Services KSAT in Punta Arenas, Chile Svalbard, Norway and Troll station, Antarctica. Lockheed Martin developed LunIRs infrared sensor and cryocooler to operate both day and night, mapping the lunar surface.
