In February, Sora Turbo was first made available to safety testers. Today, users can make videos up to 20 seconds long in 1080p resolution with different aspect ratios. Currently free for existing users, Sora competes with solutions from Meta, Google, and Stability AI. Tailored pricing is scheduled for early next year. But the UK, Switzerland, and the EU dont have it. OpenAI prioritises protections against abuse, such as thwarting damaging content like deepfakes and content about child abuse.
