Google Cloud announced the general availability of Ironwood, its seventhgeneration Tensor Processing Unit TPU, and expanded its portfolio with new Arm

Google Cloud announced the general availability of Ironwood, its seventhgeneration Tensor Processing Unit TPU, and expanded its portfolio with new Armbased Axion CPUs. Ironwood is designed for the "age of inference," delivering up to a 10x increase in peak performance over its predecessor for largescale model serving and training. Ironwood superpods can scale up to 9,216 chips, connected by a 9.6 Tb/s network fabric, forming the core of Googles AI Hypercomputer—an integrated supercomputing system. Complementing this, the new Axion CPUs such as the N4A and C4A metal instances offer up to 2x better priceperformance than comparable x86 VMs, handling the generalpurpose workloads like data preparation and application hosting that support AI systems. India is aggressively pursuing the localization of its telecom sector to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers and enhance national security over critical infrastructure. As of September 2025, over 90,000 4G sites have been deployed across the country using entirely homegrown technology, primarily through a consortium led by TCS, CDOT, and Tejas Networks. This effort aligns with the National Security Directive on Telecom, which mandates that operators source equipment only from trusted sources. The consortium is planning a software upgrade to 5G after a full rollout, demonstrating India’s capability to build and deploy its own sovereign telecom stack, moving towards greater supply chain control and resilience. Critical Browser Security Report Highlights Rising AI and Identity Risks

A new Browser Security Report for 2025 reveals that the users browser has become the most critical and vulnerable enterprise endpoint, with a majority

A new Browser Security Report for 2025 reveals that the users browser has become the most critical and vulnerable enterprise endpoint, with a majority of identity and AIrelated risks converging there. The report highlights that 77% of employees paste corporate data into Generative AI prompts, with 82% of that occurring through unmanaged personal accounts, turning GenAI into the top data exfiltration channel. Furthermore, unmanaged browser extensions act as a significant software supply chain threat. The report urges security teams to adopt browsernative visibility and SessionNative Controls to enforce security, detect "Shadow AI" usage, and prevent the session hijacking and cookie theft that define modern breaches.
