Following an interruption that impacted thousands of customers on Thursday, Microsofts cloudbased productivity suite, which includes Word, Excel, and Teams, has resumed. The organisation attested that the problem, which originated from modifications in the controlled environment of a thirdparty ISP, has been resolved. Around 90,000 users, mainly in the United States, reported that the outage affected Microsoft services in several areas. The affected services were Xbox, Bing, Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, and Teams. Two months earlier, a CrowdStrike upgrade caused 8.5 million Windows machines to experience a similar disruption, identical to the current outage.
