Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Tunisia all have free trade agreements thanks to the Agadir Agreement. 55% of the regions textile and apparel exports totaled $8.6 billion in their combined exports in 2019. The largest textile consumers in the Agadir region are the EU and the US. Exports to nearby nations continue to be relatively low, in part because of lower purchasing power.
