UK Secretary Jonathan Reynolds also gave Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal a chocolate ice cream. Goyal described the accord as a “balanced agreement” that will quadruple bilateral trade to $120 billion by 2030 when he shared the story during the India Global Forum’s UKIndia Week. The Double Contribution Convention DCC, which was included in the FTA and finalised on May 6, exempts temporary employees from paying duplicate social security levies.
